Hi, and welcome to Stitches and Trends. My name is Liz and I'm starting this blog to share my love of creating crochet and knitwear. I have an Etsy shop ReadyMade4U where I sell my finished items. 

I wanted to create a blog that shows some of the latest fashion trends, and also post some really cool crochet and knitting stitches, so maybe you can create some styles for yourself.

Right now I'm working on a batch of crocheted Gauntlets (fingerless gloves).
I'm using this single crochet (sc) stitch pattern. 
How To Single Crochet

You can use any size crochet needle.

                                                 "The Grit Stitch"
    
                                          Chain a multiple of 2 stitches 

                                      Row 1: Turn. Ch 1, skip stitch,
                                                  *sk 1 st, 2 scs in next st* across,
                                                  ending with 2 scs in last.
                                      Repeat Row 1.
